Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for your territory/region to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.

  • Identify, prospect and acquire new customers and business accounts; build a strong sales pipeline.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Conduct product/service presentations and demonstrations to customers, highlighting value propositions, differentiators and ROI.

  • Negotiate contracts/agreements, close sales deals, ensure timely delivery and good customer onboarding.

  • Manage a territory: plan visits, prioritise clients/accounts, track market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.

  • Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, territory plans and account reviews to management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service, operations) to maximise customer satisfaction and market penetration.

  • Possibly mentor or guide junior field sales executives or associate sales staff (if applicable).

  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory and attend trade shows, conferences, customer events as required.

  • Maintain CRM system, update customer information, track interactions and ensure data integrity.
