A Revenue Analyst helps maximize a hotel’s profitability by analyzing market trends, room rates, and booking patterns. The role is focused on pricing strategy, forecasting, and revenue optimization to ensure the hotel earns the best possible revenue from available rooms and services.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance.
Conduct market research to study competitor pricing and demand trends.
Assist in setting room rates, packages, and promotions.
Prepare forecasting reports (occupancy, ADR – Average Daily Rate, RevPAR – Revenue per Available Room).
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align strategies.
Support budget planning and business reviews.
Ensure revenue management systems (RMS/PMS) are updated with accurate data.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or Economics (MBA is an advantage).
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and hotel management software.
Knowledge of revenue management principles and market dynamics.
