Job Description

A Hotel Manager oversees the overall operations of a hotel, ensuring smooth functioning, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Operational Management

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance).

    • Ensure service standards are maintained across the property.

  2. Financial Management

    • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure revenue targets are met.

    • Optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality.

  3. Team Leadership

    • Lead, mentor, and train department heads and staff.

    • Promote a positive work culture and handle HR-related matters.

  4. Guest Experience

    • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.

    • Address complaints promptly and implement solutions for recurring issues.

  5. Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure hotel operations comply with legal, safety, and Marriott standards.

    • Monitor hygiene, fire safety, and other regulatory requirements.

  6. Business Development

    • Work on marketing, promotions, and partnerships to increase occupancy and revenue.

    • Collaborate with the sales team to attract corporate and leisure clients.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience: 7–15 years in hotel management; prior experience in luxury/mid-scale hotels preferred.
