A Dispatch Executive ensures smooth movement of goods from the warehouse to stores or directly to customers. Key responsibilities include:
Order Processing & Coordination
Receive dispatch requests from stores or internal teams.
Verify items against packing lists and invoices.
Logistics & Shipment Handling
Organize goods for transport, ensuring correct quantity and quality.
Schedule pickups and deliveries with internal transport or third-party logistics.
Documentation & Record-Keeping
Maintain dispatch records, bills, delivery notes, and inventory updates.
Ensure all necessary documents accompany shipments.
Tracking & Communication
Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on delivery status.
Coordinate with store managers, warehouse staff, and transporters.
Quality & Safety Compliance
Ensure goods are properly packaged to prevent damage.
Follow safety and regulatory norms during loading/unloading.
Basic computer skills (for managing dispatch logs or ERP software).
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for coordination with transporters and stores.
Ability to handle physical work (lifting, loading, and organizing items).
Familiarity with logistics and inventory management is a plus.
Minimum: 10th or 12th pass (depending on location and hiring norms).
Diploma or basic logistics/warehouse training is a plus.
Usually 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail dispatch roles.
Freshers are often considered if willing to do operational/field work.
