Order Delivery: Pick up products from store/warehouse and deliver to customers promptly and safely.
Route Planning: Plan the best routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic and distance.
Customer Interaction: Interact politely with customers, get signatures, and confirm order receipt.
Handling Products: Ensure products are delivered without damage, particularly apparel or FMCG goods.
Documentation: Maintain records of deliveries, cash on delivery (COD) collections, and returned products.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keep delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or van) in good working condition.
Compliance: Follow traffic rules and company delivery protocols.
Basic literacy and numeracy (to check invoices and collect COD).
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of local geography / routes.
Physical fitness (for carrying packages).
Driving license for 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler, depending on company requirement.
Reliability and punctuality.
Minimum: 10th pass / 12th pass in some cases.
No advanced degree is usually required.
