Job Description

  • Audit & Compliance Oversight: Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with Marriott's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across various departments. This includes areas like Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and Operations. The goal is to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all processes align with corporate policies. 

  • Training & Development: Lead training sessions for departmental leaders to enhance their understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements. This proactive approach helps in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate accurate and timely reports on audit findings, discrepancies, and compliance status. Analyze data to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Policy Implementation & Monitoring: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Regularly monitor and review these policies to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.


🎓 Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is typically required. Alternatively, a 2-year degree with relevant experience may be considered.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related professional area is often preferred. Experience in the hospitality industry can be an advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential for data analysis and reporting.
