Job Description

  • Category Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for the assigned category to achieve sales and profit targets.

  • Product Selection & Pricing: Decide on product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies.

  • Supplier Management: Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery terms.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform decisions.

  • Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Track category performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to align category plans.
