Returns & Exchanges: Manage product returns, exchanges, and refunds following store policy.
Inventory Coordination: Report stock shortages, damaged items, or product discrepancies at the counter.
Maintain Cleanliness & Order: Ensure the cashier counter area is tidy and organized.
Compliance: Follow company policies, cash-handling guidelines, and loss-prevention protocols.
Numerical Accuracy: Strong attention to numbers for billing and cash handling.
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, patient with customers.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of POS systems, billing software, and digital payment methods.
Communication Skills: Clear and polite verbal communication.
Problem-solving: Handle billing errors, returns, or customer complaints professionally.
Usually 10th / 12th pass; some stores may prefer graduate candidates.
Freshers are often accepted for cashier roles.
Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
