The Area Manager ensures smooth operations, revenue growth, and compliance across all assigned stores:
Operational Oversight
Monitor day-to-day store operations across the assigned area.
Ensure all stores meet company standards for service, merchandising, and housekeeping.
Implement and monitor SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) at store level.
Sales & Business Growth
Achieve sales and profitability targets for each store in the area.
Analyze sales trends, inventory turnover, and product performance.
Support store managers in promotional campaigns and product launches.
Team Management & Development
Guide and support Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and other store staff.
Conduct performance appraisals, training sessions, and motivation programs.
Identify talent and assist in succession planning.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient replenishment.
Minimize shrinkage, wastage, and stock-outs.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales, store performance, and staff productivity.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Analytical skills to monitor sales, KPIs, and inventory.

Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Retail Management / Commerce or equivalent.
3–7 years of experience in retail, with 1–3 years in a managerial role preferred.
Base Salary
₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month (varies by experience and city).
