Job Description

. Business Development Executive (Udaan)

Role Overview

. As a Business Development Executive at Udaan, you will be responsible for expanding Udaan's retailer and seller network. You will acquire new customers (kirana stores, small shops, wholesalers, pharmacies, etc.), maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and drive sales growth in your assigned area

. Key Responsibilities

Identify, onboard, and manage new retailers, distributors, and sellers.

Achieve sales targets and drive order volumes in the assigned territory.

Build long-term business relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

Explain Udaan's platform, product categories, and services to customers.

Coordinate with supply chain/logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Track competitor activities and provide market feedback.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales performance.

. Skills & Requirements

Qualification: Graduate (any stream); MBA is an advantage.

Experience: 0-3 years in sales, distribution, FMCG, or e-commerce.

Freshers may be considered for entry-level roles.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Target-oriented and self-motivated.

Willingness to travel locally (field job).

Knowledge of local market and retailers is an advantage.
