As a Senior Product Engineer at Rapido, you’ll be at the heart of building the technology that drives millions of rides daily. Your main focus will be on creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance back-end systems, working closely with product teams to turn ideas into reality.
Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
Build microservices architecture to handle massive traffic efficiently.
Optimize database operations (SQL & NoSQL) and system performance.
Debug and troubleshoot complex backend issues.
Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in best coding and architectural practices.
Strong coding in Java, Node.js, or Go.
Experience in microservices, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
Knowledge of databases: SQL & NoSQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Exposure to ride-hailing, logistics, or mobility platforms.
Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in scaling systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability.
