Job Description

1. Merchandise Planning

  • Seasonal and annual planning for factory outlets

  • Determine product assortment, categories, sizes, colors, and quantities

  • Preparing OTB (Open-to-Buy) budgets

2. Inventory Management

  • Manage stock levels to avoid overstock and stock-outs

  • Plan liquidation of slow-moving inventory

  • Develop inventory aging strategies

3. Allocation & Replenishment

  • Allocate merchandise to each outlet based on store profile, size, and demand

  • Regular replenishment planning

  • Adjust stock distribution across outlets

4. Sales Forecasting & Business Analysis

  • Analyze sales trends of factory outlets

  • Forecast sales based on historical performance

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports

5. Markdown & Pricing Strategy

  • Plan promotional pricing and markdown cycles

  • Maximize sell-through while protecting margin

  • Ensure discount strategies fit company policy

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with:

    • Retail Operations

    • Supply Chain

    • Buying Team

    • Finance

    • Warehouse / Logistics

7. Vendor & Product Management

  • Work with sourcing and buying teams for product lifecycle

  • Approve final product assortment for factory outlets

8. Store Performance Improvement

  • Improve store KPIs:

    • Sell-through %

    • Stock turn

    • GMROI

    • ASP (Average Selling Price)

9. MIS & Reporting

  • Weekly sell-through analysis

  • Inventory ageing reports

  • Planning dashboards

  • Seasonal performance analysis

10. Team Leadership

  • Lead planners, allocators, and merchandising executives

  • Train teams on planning tools and processes
