Vehicle Design & Integration
Work on design and packaging of key systems (chassis, powertrain, suspension, steering, braking, body structure, etc.).
Collaborate with CAD and design teams to ensure proper component fitment.
Prototype Development
Oversee prototype build activities and ensure that designs can be manufactured and assembled efficiently.
Testing & Validation
Conduct vehicle performance tests – ride comfort, handling, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), durability, and safety.
Analyze test results and recommend design modifications.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure vehicles meet AIS, BS-VI, ISO, and global safety/emission standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
Participate in Design Reviews (DRs) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Documentation
Prepare technical reports, drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and validation documents.
Continuous Improvement
Work on product enhancements for weight reduction, cost optimization, and performance improvement.
