The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with purchases, maintaining store cleanliness and product displays, and contributing to the overall sales performance of the store. This role is key in creating a positive shopping experience and supporting the storeβs daily operations.
Greet customers promptly and professionally upon entry to the store
Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and offering recommendations
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately
Keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually appealing
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves
Maintain store cleanliness, including fitting rooms, counters, and merchandise areas
Follow all store policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety protocols
Work as part of a team to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service
Stay informed about product features, promotions, and discounts
Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Prior experience in retail or customer service (a plus, but not always required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, approachable, and patient with customers
Basic math and computer skills for operating registers
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
