As a Picker / Packer, your day begins in the warehouse where orders for the day are ready to be fulfilled. You start by reviewing the order sheets and checking the inventory to locate the items. Walking along the neatly organized shelves, you carefully pick the right products, double-checking their quantity, quality, and expiry dates.
Next, you move to the packing area, where each item is securely packed into boxes or containers. Labels are applied, and the products are prepared for dispatch to stores or customers. Throughout the day, you ensure the workspace is clean and organized, adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
Occasionally, you assist in loading and unloading shipments, coordinating with supervisors to keep track of stock and ensure timely delivery. By the end of the shift, you have helped maintain the smooth flow of Haldiram’s supply chain, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
