The Picker / Packer is responsible for efficiently handling products in the warehouse by picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. The role ensures that goods are accurately picked according to order lists, properly packed, and maintained in top condition before shipping to stores or customers.
Select items from warehouse shelves as per order requirements.
Pack products safely using proper packaging materials.
Label and seal boxes or packets for shipment.
Check product quality, expiry dates, and damages before packing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
Assist in loading and unloading goods if required.
Follow company safety and hygiene standards.
Update supervisors about stock shortages or product damage.
Basic reading and writing ability.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
Good physical stamina and ability to stand or move for long periods.
Teamwork and time-management skills.
Basic understanding of warehouse operations preferred.
Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent.
