Job Description

Mail Operations Management

Supervise the receipt, sorting, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing mail and courier items.

Ensure timely distribution of internal and external communications.

Team Management

Manage a team of mailroom staff or coordinators.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training for efficient mail handling.

Vendor & Courier Coordination

Liaise with courier companies, postal services, and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.

Negotiate service contracts and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs).

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records of incoming/outgoing mail, courier receipts, and delivery confirmations.

Prepare regular reports for management on mail operations, efficiency, and costs.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Identify and implement improvements in mail handling and distribution processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and data protection regulations.
