Job Description

Planning and scheduling inbound and outbound shipments

Coordinating with warehouses, transporters/drivers, suppliers and internal teams (sales, procurement, warehouse)

Tracking shipments, ensuring goods are delivered on time, managing delays & exceptions

Managing documentation: bills of lading, invoices, manifests, transport permits etc.

Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the correctness of inventory records

Ensuring compliance with safety, legal, regulatory and company policies in transit/storage

Optimizing routing, load planning, cost per shipment, resource utilization

Handling customer or partner queries / complaints related to deliveries or logistics issues

Generating reports: delivery status, cost metrics, lead times, vendor performance, etc.

Continuous improvement: identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the logistics flow, suggesting/implementing improvements
