Job Description

Production Planning

Prepare production schedules based on demand forecasts and order priorities.

Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Inventory Management

Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.

Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent production delays or overstocking.

Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Calculate material requirements and place requests or orders with the procurement team.

Track material consumption and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with production, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics teams.

Communicate production plans and inventory updates to relevant stakeholders.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain production and inventory records for management review.

Generate reports on production efficiency, stock levels, and material usage.

Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in production planning or inventory control.

Suggest improvements to optimize production flow and reduce costs.
