Identify gaps and barriers in diagnostic testing and develop solutions.
Facilitate adoption of companion diagnostics for targeted therapies.
Ensure sample flows, lab capabilities, and quality standards are met.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong scientific and collaborative relationships with pathologists, molecular labs, oncologists, diagnostic companies, and professional associations.
Act as the key diagnostic expert for internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Sales, Brand teams).
Education & Scientific Communication
Deliver approved scientific/technical information on diagnostics to healthcare professionals and labs.
Conduct training programs, workshops, and awareness sessions on biomarker testing.
Insights & Strategy
Gather local insights from labs and clinicians on testing practices, unmet needs, and adoption barriers.
Provide feedback to inform brand plans, market access strategies, and life-cycle management (LCM).
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all activities follow AstraZeneca’s compliance, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Support lab QA programs, validation, and external audits where relevant.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Medical Affairs, MSLs, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align diagnostic strategy with brand objectives.
Coordinate with global/regional diagnostic initiatives.
