Job Description

1️⃣ Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective channel management.

  • Drive secondary sales by ensuring regular order flow from distributors and retailers.

  • Expand product reach and ensure SKU-wise availability in all key outlets.

  • Analyze sales trends, market share, and competitor activities to optimize territory performance.


2️⃣ Channel & Distributor Management

  • Handle General Trade (GT) and Standalone Modern Trade (SAMT) outlets in the assigned territory.

  • Appoint, manage, and monitor distributors and stockists for effective coverage.

  • Ensure timely billing, delivery, and payment collection from channel partners.

  • Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, and ensure healthy channel profitability.


3️⃣ Merchandising & In-Store Execution

  • Ensure product visibility, planogram compliance, and shelf space share in retail outlets.

  • Implement promotional schemes, trade offers, and product displays.

  • Conduct in-store brand activations to increase consumer engagement.

  • Supervise merchandising teams to maintain planogram and branding standards.


4️⃣ Market Expansion & New Business Development

  • Identify new retail outlets and potential markets for product placement.

  • Negotiate with retailers to onboard Deoleo products.

  • Build strong long-term relationships with trade partners and ensure brand loyalty.


5️⃣ Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit daily/weekly sales reports and update on market trends.

  • Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and Marketing Team for promotions and schemes.

  • Provide market feedback on pricing, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

  • Use sales analytics tools or CRM software (if applicable) to track performance.


6️⃣ Team Collaboration

  • Lead and motivate Sales Representatives / Merchandisers under your area.

  • Train field staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and market behavior.
