Job Description

Area Tasks
Lead generation & market research Identify new business opportunities — regions, industries, services. Research competition, client needs, market trends.
Client acquisition & relationship building Reach out to potential clients, pitch ALS’s services, negotiate terms. Maintain relationships with existing major clients.
Solution design & proposal management Understand a client’s logistics needs (transport, warehousing, customs etc.), collaborate with operations / legal / price teams to draft proposals.
Revenue & targets Meet revenue, growth, volume, profitability targets. Focus not just on top line but margin / cost efficiencies.
Account management After getting a client, ensure smooth onboarding; coordinate with operations so service delivery meets promises; manage renewals, upselling, resolving issues.
Contract / tender handling Participate in tenders / bids, preparing and submitting proposals, following up, negotiating contracts.
Coordination with internal teams Work with operations, finance, compliance, customs, warehousing etc., to ensure the solutions you promise are feasible and profitable.
Reporting & monitoring Track KPIs: number of leads, conversion rates, revenue, profit margin, client satisfaction, etc. Use CRM tools, dashboards.
