Job Description

  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

    • Identify and acquire new-to-bank customers (retail, corporate, or institutional).

    • Build strong and lasting client relationships through trust, service, and tailored solutions.

  2. Revenue Growth

    • Drive sales of banking products and services (loans, trade finance, deposits, treasury, wealth management, NRI banking, etc.).

    • Meet revenue and profitability targets for the branch/region.

  3. Market Development

    • Explore new markets (domestic and overseas opportunities).

    • Support HSBC’s expansion in the Overseas Indian, SME, corporate, and retail segments.

  4. Cross-Selling & Collaboration

    • Work with relationship managers, branch banking, corporate banking, and wealth management teams to identify opportunities.

    • Provide clients with end-to-end solutions.

  5. Strategic Planning & Analysis

    • Track competitor activity and market trends.

    • Develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and client engagement plans.

  6. Compliance & Risk

    • Ensure all client onboarding and transactions follow KYC, AML, and regulatory standards.

    • Balance growth with risk management and compliance requirements.
