Job Description

  1. Client Acquisition & Business Development

    • Source New-to-Bank (NTB) Overseas Indian clients through referrals, corporate salary accounts, and targeted outreach.

    • Achieve sales and business growth targets as per HSBC’s Customer Strategic Plan (CSP).

  2. Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with Overseas Indian customers.

    • Provide guidance on banking, investment, and wealth management solutions tailored to their needs.

    • Handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

  3. Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure strict adherence to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and all regulatory guidelines.

    • Mitigate financial, reputational, and operational risks by following HSBC’s compliance framework.

  4. Marketing & Promotion Activities

    • Plan and execute local marketing events, campaigns, and client engagement programs to attract OI customers.

    • Represent HSBC at financial seminars, expos, and corporate tie-ups to promote OI banking services.

  5. Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Branch Banking, Premier Relationship Managers, Corporate Employee Programs (CEP), and Commercial Banking teams to identify opportunities.

    • Generate business synergies through referrals and cross-selling.

  6. Reporting & MIS

    • Maintain accurate sales records, call reports, and business MIS (Management Information Systems).

    • Track business pipeline, conversions, and portfolio growth.

  7. Service Excellence

    • Ensure timely resolution of client complaints and service requests.

    • Deliver on HSBC’s promise of fair outcomes for customers and uphold high standards of integrity and conduct.
